I just love this place! Sitting with my wife in a large Jacuzzi next to a fire place, drinking champagne while watching a movie on TV is my favorite time of relaxing. Nothing beats that!

I really had a blast when I went plan to return again soon. food was great staff was also, took my girl friend and she absolutely loved it. loved the pool rose petals and it being private. Really excited to go back.

I’ve stayed here a few times now and will keep coming back. I love the luxury of the tub in the room as well as the sauna and rainforest shower! The beds are comfy and the mood lighting (with headboard controls) is fabulous for a little romance…

My husband and I stayed at the Champagne Lodge and had a wonderful experience. The room, hot tub, sauna, bed, towels every bit of it was extremely clean. We had zero complaints. We will go back again! A great night away from the kids!

We felt very secluded in our room. The shower was hands down the coolest part! Steam/ Mist/ normal shower! Epic! Highly recommend it to anyone! Only downside was the breakfast, it was very underwhelming! Otherwise great, we will be returning!

My husband and I love traveling!! We also do monthly get aways.. We recently opted to stay close to our home and gave the Champagne Lodge a try!! Their steam shower was most relaxing as was their jacuzzi tub!! We will definitely be back!!

My wife and have been coming to The Champagne Lodge every month for the past 2 years. No matter what type of suite we pick to stay for the night (usually an Executive or Pool Suite), we always feel that we are away from home, but also at home. Friendly staff, clean suites and great amenities. Highly recommended!

We booked a room for our aniversary and due to circumstances werent able to make it. Unfortynately we called late to cancel our reservation. I called and spoke with the owner, and he listened to our situation and did allow Get-a-room to refund our money. Its a blessing when a buisness cares about their customets and not just their money.

Impressively structured room. A romantic atmosphere that is almost overwhelming!! We had an amazing time from the moment we checked in until the we handed back our keycard. The jacuzzi tub was great and had more than enough room for us. The lighting and mirrors were exceptional and really help intensify our experience. We can’t wait to return!

This is a very unique hotel; worth a change from the typical cookie-cutter hotels. Having a large whirlpool and steam room in the room is special. Hotel is nestled in the back of a neighborhood, so there are no other businesses in the area. (You will want to use your GPS to get here.) Lots of privacy. The rooms are situated in a campus-style environment with meticulously maintained gardens.

We enjoyed our stay in the swim spa suite. Very clean, lots of towels, roomy and warm. Like the fact that there is an honor bar, so there is an option for beverages if you didn’t bring your own. Nice bath products provided. No candles were allowed and we were told no rose petals either. Accommodating staff and a continental breakfast that we didn’t venture out to try. Nice place for a couple’s getaway!

I loved the beautiful jacuzzi suite we had. It was unbelievable. The pics of this place does it no justice. The staff was friendly and very helpful the continental breakfast was good. The fire place was in the bdrm and the jacuzzi room. They had sirus radio throughout the suite. The fridge was cold and the bed was comfortable. I have really nothing bad to say about this place. I would recommend this place to everyone.

We went for our anniversary and it was perfect for the first night. We wanted to have a nice night just to ourselves. The swimming pool in the room was the perfect temp, the staff walked us through and showed us how to use all of the switches for the surround sound in both rooms along with the lights. The only thing we could not figure out late at night was how to turn off the dim lights on top of our bed but other than that we highly recommend this hotel. We will be going back soon

I am the President of Arnold Hospitality Sales Group and I normally stay at hotels I am familiar with or hotels my company are contracted with. The Champagne Lodge is great. Romantic setting. Highly recommend this cozy getaway. Beautiful peaceful setting with an absolute beautifully decorated room. The Steam shower in the room was magnificent. If you have ever booked through AHSG before then you know we only recommend the very best. I personally give The Champagne Lodge a big thumbs up.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and will be returning for sure! We got the couples rejuvenating massage and it was amazing! My husband loved it (it was his first massage). They were so friendly and it was so relaxing. The rooms were really nice and even better than the pictures. The lodges are set back from the city and its very peaceful. I would recommend this place for sure. We extended our stay another night and got a free bottle of champagne. They definitely will be seeing us again!

Perfect getaway. It took me a while to get to do this review since I am always working. My wife surprised me with this gift during my vacation. I got to say that from the moment we arrived the people there were very helpful and polite. The highlight of our stay there was the massage. I believe her name was Stephanie. She is the main reason why I would go back. The rooms were very clean. Two small details; 1 let your maintenance crew know when a room is checking out rather than having them knock in three separate occasions. 2 better breakfast. Thank you to all the staff there for a great relaxing time.

Took my girlfriend here for a birthday getaway. I chose the swim spa room. The accommodations are fantastic. Large pool with massage jets. The water temp is perfect throughout. It has a very large shower/sauna with floor to ceiling water jets. The room itself has a king bed, mood lighting throughput WiFi music piped everywhere, two flat screen tv’s, nice size kitchenette with a fridge and microwave. Plus a fully stocked bar. There are no windows so sleeping in too late could be a problem. But, as far as problems go, I’ll take it. Also, very sound proof. I never heard anyone from neighboring rooms or maid service. It’s a little pricey but worth it. We stayed for two nights. If you want to impress your better half, this place does the trick.

Me and my wife went on our 15th Anniversary getaway. I drove all night in hopes and anticipation to give her another beautiful surprise exoerience. We were both sadly disappointed. After voicing our dissatisfaction, the desk clerk went above and beyond her call of duty to ensure we were comfortable until meeting with the manager. In the morning, the manager didn’t hesitate to put us in a better suite. In addition, we provided us with a stocked refrigerator, candles, and a bottle of champagne. The next day, he remembered who we were and made sure we were happy. This is a place we would definitely recommend to couples. The atmosphere is friendly, clean, and quiet. All the staff are as nice and understanding as the manager. My wife’s displeasure was turned to my pleasure. #HappyWifeHappyLife

FIRST OFF, I WANT TO THANK THE WHOLE STAFF!!!!! This is was a surprise birthday weekend for my fiance and everything was WONDERFUL 🙂 I had went online and booked the room for 2 nights and had them set the room up with the birthday package and they did an awesome job with that, we are from Cincinnati, Oh and I did not have to worry about nothing. When we got into the room we did not have to worry about anything and the room was GORGEOUS! I had surprised him with the “Pool & Suite Room”, I also surprised him with a 60 min massage and they called on time and the spa was just 2 doors away from our room so he did not have to go far so I was able to lie to him and tell him we was getting ice and took him to the spa room. The attendants was there 24 hrs so they always answered the phone and had prompt answers. The book in the room was very helpful was well with “Sirus Radio and Cable” they even have WiFi so I was able to take my laptop with me; when we left the room and came back they cleaned the room and I did not have to worry about my valuables being taken. The best thing besides it all “YOU CANNOT HEAR ANYTHING!” the decor was soothing as well, and to think I was orignally going to take him to the “Trump Hotel in Chicago”, no this beat the “TRUMP!” I give Champagne Lodge & Suites a 4-5 STAR RATING! It is only 15-30 mins from Downtown Chicago depending on traffic and the direction you take. DO NOT WORRY ABOUT GETTING LOST! Residents drive and act busy like they from New York but they will take the time to direct you where you need to go they are also friendly “sounds scary, you would think you would find one rude ppl but very happy and helpful, like they work for Chicago and was trained to be that way”. YES! I will come here again on a different occassion or maybe another birthday who knows? It was that wonderful!

Have been to the CL several times and I’m always taken back by how amazing, clean, & elegant the suites are. You truly feel like your checking into an upscale hotel. I was surprised to see a last minute deal online for a great price, so it was a no brainer to book for the night. Originally intending to check in and head to the city for a birthday dinner & show; upon arriving they gave us the option of upgrading to the swim spa suite. The price was a steal! As if we didn’t love the CL already, this swim spa suite turned our city plans into a night in instead. Loved that chairs and a tv were by the pool area, as well as by the bed. If you didn’t prepare for your night, the fully stocked mini fridge had great selections for decent prices. It also had another fridge for whatever you wanted to bring too. The suite was beyond perfect that we extended our stay until 1pm. They had plenty of towels stocked in the suite that you were never in need. Only issue I had was the toliet was constantly running, however during check out they already had someone waiting to fix it. Friendly staff, quiet location, beautiful suites.

I traveled to The Champagne Lodge alone, for business, without paying much attention to the purpose of the hotel when I booked it… It was only when I arrived that I realized that the hotel is more ideal for couples on a romantic retreat. I always get a little timid after a day of traveling and stress, so that combined with realizing this hotel was not for me made me feel sheepish when checking in. That’s when I saw the friendly face of Andy behind the check in counter. Andy shook me right out of my nerves and made me feel happy, welcome, comfortable and even made me laugh!
I got into my room and was impressed at the set up: For a basic-level price, you really get a luxury experience. The basic room comes with a queen bed, flat screen tv large standing 2-3 person shower room, and a Jacuzzi tub. It was at that moment I really wished I’d brought my wife for this trip… but none the less it was a great stay!
After my first night, there was an issue with the internet in my room. I live out of my inbox, especially on the road, so I went to the front desk to see if they could fix it. The hotel owner/manager didn’t waste any time trying to fix the problem with that router. Instead he toured me around to different available rooms, getting me to sing on to the wifi until I found a room that gave me the best signal. He immediately switched me over to a new room. I’m in no way a fussy traveler, and the fact that without a question or delay he fixed my issue in such an effective manner REALLY impressed me.
Based on this stay alone; I’m currently trying to find a reason to plan a trip with my wife to the Chicago area so that we can stay here.
I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE who is staying in the Chicago area! It is accessible to major highways (Took me 35-40 minutes to get from my hotel to Wrigley field for a Cubs game) and also a really nice and modern facility.
